I swear by the Day of Resurrection Al-Qiyamah [1]

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. Al-Qiyamah [2]

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? Al-Qiyamah [3]

Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips. Al-Qiyamah [4]

But man desires to continue in sin. Al-Qiyamah [5]

He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" Al-Qiyamah [6]

So when vision is dazzled Al-Qiyamah [7]

And the moon darkens Al-Qiyamah [8]

And the sun and the moon are joined, Al-Qiyamah [9]

Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" Al-Qiyamah [10]

No! There is no refuge. Al-Qiyamah [11]

To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. Al-Qiyamah [12]

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. Al-Qiyamah [13]

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness, Al-Qiyamah [14]

Even if he presents his excuses. Al-Qiyamah [15]

Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. Al-Qiyamah [16]

Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. Al-Qiyamah [17]

So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. Al-Qiyamah [18]

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. Al-Qiyamah [19]

No! But you love the immediate Al-Qiyamah [20]

And leave the Hereafter. Al-Qiyamah [21]

[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, Al-Qiyamah [22]

Looking at their Lord. Al-Qiyamah [23]

And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, Al-Qiyamah [24]

Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking. Al-Qiyamah [25]

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones Al-Qiyamah [26]

And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" Al-Qiyamah [27]

And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation Al-Qiyamah [28]

And the leg is wound about the leg, Al-Qiyamah [29]

To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. Al-Qiyamah [30]

And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed. Al-Qiyamah [31]

But [instead], he denied and turned away. Al-Qiyamah [32]

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. Al-Qiyamah [33]

Woe to you, and woe! Al-Qiyamah [34]

Then woe to you, and woe! Al-Qiyamah [35]

Does man think that he will be left neglected? Al-Qiyamah [36]

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted? Al-Qiyamah [37]

Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him] Al-Qiyamah [38]

And made of him two mates, the male and the female. Al-Qiyamah [39]

Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead? Al-Qiyamah [40]
